Director of Pharmacy
• Full-time position
An exceptional leader, you will develop and manage MAHC’s Pharmacy and Oncology Departments, which includes developing internal policy and procedures, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, and overseeing both departments’ budgets.
Outstanding at coaching and mentoring employees, you are also well versed in effectively managing projects and enthusiastic about being part of a team that is overseeing the implementation of Automatic Dispensing Units across the entire organization. Your dedication to quality patient care is complemented by your ability to provide effective strategic guidance in achieving organizational objectives and thorough understanding and awareness of relevant pharmaceutical standards of practice and legislation.
You have a bachelor of science in pharmacy and, preferably, a complementary master’s degree, in addition to a current license with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and membership with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists. You have a minimum of five years of experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting and an additional three years of experience in a progressive management or supervisory role.
